| Hotel operators on security during EURO 2012 |

December is the month during which hotel operators host numerous Christmas parties. Jointly with PL.2012 they found the time to attend two conferences devoted to security at hotels during EURO 2012
The first conference was held at the Novotel Airport Hotel. The lecturers included Government Protection Bureau officers , representatives of the of the Fire Service Headquarters, Police Headquarters, the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, Inspector General for the Protection of Personal Data and tourist experts. The conference was held right before the group drawings in Kyiv. Participants in the meeting very willingly shared their foreign experiences (mainly directors of the Accor network) concerning the handling of large events and meetings that required specific collaboration with respect to security, e.g. in Brussels and Stuttgart. The intention of the organisers of the conference is to publish a script with presentations by the speakers which will help hotel owners in the appropriate preparation of their facilities to receive guests in the summer of 2012.The other conference on similar subjects was held on 20.12.2011 at the Art Hotel in Wroclaw. The conference was organised by the Wroclaw Convention Bureau.
