Last Monday another medical service training was held at the National Stadium. It was attended by 100 rescuers, doctors and nurses

ambulans_pod_sn The group constitutes the core of a 14—strong team of rescuers from Falck that won the tender and will provide medical and rescue services during events at the National Stadium. The training was aimed at preparing the personnel of the service - both with respect to the specific nature of the work at a stadium during a mass event and also the specific nature of the National Stadium with its miles of corridors, hundreds of entrances and dozens of staircases. The rescuers learn about the topography of the building, where first aid points are located, recognise the routes they will follow during patrols or escape routes. They learn about plans of medical provisions, including the planned locations of ambulances or rescue teams. This is all necessary so that during work, they can focus only on assisting those in need", says Dr. Elżbieta Lipska, National Coordinator for Medical Care and Rescue Services at PL.2012 who managed the training.

The training cycle is aimed at preparing the teams responsible for medical services at the National Stadium for the most important practical tests during the planned cup matches and matches of Poland's national team. "This is only a practical test that will tell us about the actual preparations of the medical services and what needs to be improved in training or coordination", says Dr. Elżbieta Lipska. "This was similar at any other stadium prepared for the Tournament and at each event we can see the effects", adds Elżbieta Lipska.
