After the discussion and presentations of the first day, on Wednesday, members of stationary and mobile Fan Embassies had an opportunity to see with their own eyes everything they had discussed the previous day

The first point of the programme was a visit at the future seat of the stationary Fan Embassy located in the immediate vicinity of the Fan Zone at Plac Wolności. A big room in the City Hall building today serves as the customer service office, but for the duration of EURO 2012 it will be adapted for the needs of the Fan Embassy.

Next, all participants went to Plac Wolności where details related to the Fan Zone were discussed. From Plac Wolności, they covered the short distance between the Zone and Stary Rynek. The location of the Zone in such an immediate vicinity of the main square was emphasised as a very good solution since it provides fans with a wide range of possibilities while giving the organisers better control of the situation in the city.

'Poznan is a cool city, there's lots of all sorts of places in the city centre, fans will have plenty to do,' said Zoran from the Croatian Fan Embassy, who had already acted as an ambassador during EURO 2008 in Austria and Switzerland where the seat of his embassy had been located mere 300 metres from the Polish one. On hearing that the mobile Fan Embassies in Poznan could be located right next to each other, he added 'No problem. This could even help our work.'

Next, having boarded a public transport bus, everyone headed to the stadium. The facility made a huge impression on Croats, who stressed the fact that in their country there were no comparable facilities. Everyone had a chance to become familiar with the details of the arena's operation during the Tournament as well as outside of it.

The guests also saw the Poznan railway station from where they departed by train to Gdansk where the last workshop of the cycle is to be launched today.
